This was a really fun year with Anna turning 10. She told me that she wanted to celebrate by doing something separate with all of her gangs. She is kind of a quiet girl, so she feels more comfortable in small groups, but wanted to have a party with all her girlfriends and family. Tonight was a party with 3 friends who she keeps in touch with, although they've moved to a different school. She planned and executed the whole thing, while I just sat back and relaxed with my mom. Eric took the little girls out to the bookstore and sushi. All I had to do was chat. I love having my kids do all the hard work.
