Our turf

We live at the top of a little hill, so a few times a year, we see this out our front window when we wake up!  They've blocked off the streets all around us to have a cancer or a 4th of July or another kind of run! This is inspiring to me...I hope one day I'm in one of these races, not just watching them in my pajamas.

Ella and her friends do gymnastics as they slip and slide.  Ella and Tirzah aren't too old for it yet!

Happy Birthday to Grandma Dee Fraser

It's cinco de mayo today, and so a perfect day to party.  I can't believe that Grandma Dee has been so close all our lives.  She has been at every big event, and always lending her support and making us laugh. She is sooo good at understanding and giving perspective to any problem!  We love how she makes any ordinary day a party!  We wish her a fabulous birthday!  I caught Anna with her eyes closed, so I'll include some more pictures of her below.  In typical Grandma Dee fashion, she treated Anna to new clothes for her private school next year.  She is completely outfitted!  Thank you Grandma...for everything!

Pre-school

Colton and Olivia eating Green Eggs and Ham.  Yes, we try to keep busy and happy over here.
I can't believe that Colton is able to sit up and have lunch with Livvy.
Olivia and Colton loved the train ride to Burlingame Park we took last week with her pre-school.  She and Waylan really bonded!  They walked to and from the train station holding hands and had a great time on the play-ground together.

She kind of cornered him, but by the end of the afternoon, he didn't seem to mind so much.
The big hit was making it across the monkey-bars for the first time.  All of the kids seemed to suddenly be able to make it, and the line got longer and longer for a turn.
Colton had a fun time as well at the park, like one of the big kids now!  He is growing up so fast.

Kum-Ba-Yah

I'm so sad that I can't get up those videos my dad took at the Pajaro Dunes Reunion!  Ben brought a whole bunch of campfire songs, but not the wadiachaa songs I'm used to, the cooler version of camp songs, and he and TJ played the guitar and Bryan brought his bongos while we sang.  Rachel danced with all the kids in the middle.  The other video was TJ showing Anna how to body surf with that perfect weather in the background.  My mom sent out that menu before we got there, and was always busy making a beautiful meal.  We got to chat and the kids had so much fun running around together and playing in the sand with Rachel.  I love my family.  Food, chatting and tennis and runs and the outdoors!  The best.
