Utah

Anna got to go to an EFY session with a group from our ward, and be room-mates with Zoey Edgmon, Jen's daughter!  And Jen and I got to rebond that week as well and visit all our favorite places, near BYU.
Provo Airport
Heritage Halls, her dorms for her week at EFY Provo Session!!!!
The first picture they sent us of them together!
Reunion with my friends from LA1 Ward!  15 years and 13 kids later....the most awesome girls ever!
I loved catching up with Lauren, meeting her kids and laughing with Trejan, her husband again.  They treated me to Lagoon, outlet shopping, and showed me the most delectable sandwich/salad place, Kneaders.

I got to stay with Jen the rest of the time and we drove to our/my!!! favorite outlets in Sugar House.
We picked up our girls and our tour of favorite places continued...
Sundance makes me feel so high-end rustic/ourdoorsy!!!
Totally my scene with horses around!  haha
I never tire of this barn, the water, and the wildflowers...my type of landscape getaway
We got to visit Erin diConza and enjoy her backyard against the mountains, we oohed and ahhed Vanesa's estate and the Bergman's farm too.
The white house, where we lived as BYU co-eds.  I guess its yellow now.
Not too much has changed since we lived here almost 20 years ago..haha

Anna and Zoey can take over now...

Black Widows

The sweltering International Polo Fields in Wellington, Florida
surrounded by crocodile infested water!
The moms were ripping off their shirts during the games and rolling up their pants to get through the heat.  July in Florida...wow!!!  is all I can say!

The best part was hanging out with Ella, on our red-eye flight with her team-mate Katie,
watching Joanne and Chip in our hotel room together during off times,
and of course, watching her team shred on the field!  They played so well, and had so much crazy fun with each other!

The first day they got a chance to be on a mixed team with girls from all over the US.
Her best buddy on her team was this girl from the East LA Compton Team

Their next game was nothing less than a shock.  They played the team from Hawaii that didn't seem at all phased by the heat or competition.  It was a shut-out!
Our team shut-out every other team they played, North Carolina, Texas, but our team didn't get to move on, because our sportsmanship points were too low!?  Whoops, what's the supposed to mean?  Maybe we were supposed to be like this Hawaii team which didn't even clap or cheer.  Mellow people there and great athletes.  There team came in first.
Even though it was disappointing to not be able to move to the finals or semi-finals, even though we had enough points to score first or second if we had been in the other brackets, it's all about the experience, right?

insert photos of ella playing here!
