Camps

Camps, camps and more camps. Anna started Soccer Camp this week. She cracks up at their British coach and how he tries to speak like a valley girl sans accent. She is happy to be with her friends Megan and Emily who both left her school last year.

"I missed you when you were sleeping over Ella!"

"Me too!"

Ella just finished 2 weeks of Girl Scout Camp. She'd take the bus all the way into the mountains each day, and come back at 5:00. Luckily she had two good buddies to ride with, and sleep with on the final day, which was a sleepover out in the open.

Anna and I have had our own summer camp here together! We've had two more charges to entertain. We've done it as our job for Girl Scout Camp! Luckily, they've been pretty adorable, but when Tauna came by, we had 7 kids under 3 for an afternoon. I wish I had a picture of that! Luckily Anna is great with little ones. She has worked 3 summers at her old pre-school entertaining the 3 and 4 year old campers there. I went there with her today, and couldn't believe the swarm of little boys that follow her, playing running games. She even had a 10 year old boy counselor following her around, giving her candy and asking her for play-dates. That's what happens when you can keep up with the boys! She is adorable. Olivia went today as well, and loved it, of course.

-Happy Birthday Anna-

Happy 10th Birthday our dear, sweet Anna! Our life changed , so much for the better, when we first met you, looking around with a curious look and peaceful smile in the hopstial room, 10 years ago! You have filled our lives with joy! Thanks for the adventurous journey that you've brought to us. We've loved watching you blossom in all you do...soccer, school, friends, helping your siblings and keeping us real. HOpe you have a great b-day!

Cooking Camp

Greta and Ella got to do a Cooking Camp, put on by four 11-year olds and their moms for a week. It makes me so happy to see those sweet children making pizzas and cakes with other little girls and their energetic, excited counselors. They all did a great job. Thanks moms for letting us be included.

Valiant Girls

Big sister, Anna, helping Olivia enjoy rides. Or maybe, this one was the right speed for them both. Poor Anna looks a little cold from getting wet in the ocean until right before the sun went down.

She got a hang of the toddler rides! Whooo-eeeee, everyone could here her whooping-so great to hear her having fun.

Thanks for the kisses, Cole! Or are you just hungry?

All of our 3 girls are pretty boy-crazy, but one of them actually isn't too shy to show it! Ella above and below!

We have such a nice group of girls in Anna's primary class. This last week we picked an evening to all go to the boardwalk with the girls and their wonderful families. Most of them made it into this picture. Summer is such a fun time.
