Southern California

Jane and Anna were born just 3 weeks apart!   They're as tall as grandma!  (Thanks for the photos Jen!)

Eric, Grandma Dee, Anna and Ella went to So. California for 5 days to visit Aunt Jenny, Uncle Jesse, Jane and Kaitlyn.  Jesse is an artistic designer at Blizzard and designs videos games.  How's that?  Anyway, they've moved into a new house in the Tustin Foothills and they finally got a chance to go see it and visit.  It's been a couple of years since we've been to visit them, so the girls were so excited to hang out and have a little trip with their dad.  While they were there, we celebrated Father's Day with Amanda, JT, Ben, Tauna and all the grand-kids at Grand-dad's house, had our first outing to the junior museum and zoo for the summer, began Bible Camp with the Petersen kids and took a daily dose of penicillin (Olivia loves it!) to combat any diseases that may be festering due the ferrel cat attack she suffered at the park last weekend.  Stay Away from strange animals at the park. Don't go up and pet them and follow them around!   After it attacked Olivia with it's teeth and claws, and we pushed it away, it jumped onto the back of my skirt and hung on while we were trying to leave.  Like a horror movie.  Today we are visiting Grandma Nan who had to have surgery on a broken hip.  Horrible!

Sold

After playing all day together, there is still a need for nightly chats with our brand new neighbors.  They moved in last week.  A 9 and an 11 year old girl, who love soccer and have a pool.  It's so great that they picked that house.   We're so lucky they came here.

Sweet, mild and gentle!
Happy Birthday our wonderful baby girl! We love having you in our family.  We're so lucky to get to enjoy you everyday.  We hope you liked your princess party with all of your friends and family to celebrate with you.  We're so proud of you being 4 years old.

Final Days of School

Thank you Teacher Susy for a fantastic year or preschool!
They had a nice End of the Year Party for the kids to run around

From the nursery, we could watch Olivia choo-choo her way to her practice for their final show for the parents that night.
My favorite song, performing "O-B-E-Y- Obey your mom and dad", of course.
Schools out for Olivia and her cousins!
Ella performing 3 dance numbers at the Relay for Life, a community fundraiser at the local high school.
2nd grade friend and teacher!
Danny G teaches dance at our school a couple times each week!  My challenge: do not cry during their shows.  I ball like a baby.  These kids dance with expression and soul I'm telling' you.

Moms make it happen!  Between these 4 moms, the art program is run, miles are counted walking to school, school slide shows are made, and can I mention they know every kids' name?
Yeah  Ella!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Congratlations graduating front the K-2 Program.  We love you!
Anna finished fifth grade!  But first she took a 3-day trip to Columbia, CA with her dad and 2 classes from her school to learn about California History.
The walk from the camp-site to the old gold-mining town

The old school house - check it

Hiking again from their campsite

They had a 200 foot cave to explore, very dark and scary!
