Fall 2015

I'm posting this in February 2017, and can't help feeling teary that these days are gone forever.  Soon, it will be spring, then summer again, and a new school year...there is no stopping it!

But for now, first day of school in 2016!

Anna was the first one to begin school.  First day of sophomore year at Sequoia High School.  And off to soccer playing for her club team, Peninsula.

Colton's first day of kindergarten

Colton's kindergarten is on turbo power.  The parents are asked to help two hours a week, they have field trips every month, do cooking, gardening, singing, dancing, PE, and learn so much I am in awe.  This picture is at the pumpkin patch field trip.  He's sitting by his friend Liv from preschool!

Colton played AYSO soccer and scored a goal his very first game.  He was stoked.

Olivia is in third grade, also at a new school.  Everything went smoothly when she found her soulmate, Nelly!  They dance and sing together every recess!  Olivia also started Activity Days at church, which has been amazing, to say the least.  She has also started piano lessons and continues with gymnastics.  And she is working hard in school...getting used to higher standards, etc.

I don't have a picture of Ella on her first day of school, because she disappears with her friends before I ever get a chance.

Mia even came on our family sneak away to the KOA on a October holiday and the Half Moon Bay pumpkin patch.  I guess that pretty much sums up Ella's beginning to 7th grade.

more family pictures from the KOA and the pumpkin patch with the Fletchers!

Other fall events for Ella, her AYSO team came in first again, with Ella scoring many goals each game.  She was on fire.  She tried out for an elite traveling team, DeAnza, and made it, but decided not to be on a team with such a commitment and Sunday travel.  We are so proud of her!!!

Theses are my only pictures from our trip to TOFW with Anna, Ella, Dina, Jane, Greta, Amanda, Graham!!!(invitro), Cindy, Cindy's cousin, and Patty in Sacramento.  It was awesome!!!  I always learn so much and cry bucketfuls of tears.

Oh, one movie of David Archuleta singing my favorite song.

Everyone is still enjoying Lucky, the cat!  He is still a little bit of therapy for everyone when they are sad or have a hard day.  Luckily, he spends most of the day outside, and then sleeps indoors, and that's about all the maintenance he requires!  He is a sweetheart.

The kids did the primary program and had a snack afterwards.  Olivia sang with a group of girls in the program.  It was so sweet!!!!!
The cousins met Grand-dad at Stanford Stadium for a football game.  Sheesh, when did football games become so noisy and full of commercials too?  I thought you avoided that by attending them in person.  Still, it was fun to be together there!

We baby-sat Greyson and got to attend the twins birthday in the fall as well.  Awesome fall and moving forward into winter!!!
