Anna is a high schooler!!!

Anna's first day as a freshman at Sequoia High School!  She's got it going on....I'm lucky I got this photo before she was on her way...miss independent these days!!!  wonderful, but hard too!!!

Jane's mom, Dina, took these photos!    Jane, Grace, Jordan, and Tirzah.  All friends since kindergarten!!!  It's so nice that she has a group to walk to/from school with!  I love these girls!!!  They just get better and better and better!

For her 14th birthday, she wanted to spend the day at Santa Cruz beach with our wonderful neighbors /BFFs/adopted sisters, Lindsay & Kassidy 

She got Taylor Swift tickets for her birthday gift!!!!

Just a couple more pictures from the summer right around her birthday...she is working as a camp counselor, and Colton was a camper!

Jane worked as a counselor as well...!!!

Anna switched club teams this fall.  She plays forward/striker for Peninsula now on the Silver Team...and always getting pressure to move up to Gold from her coaches.  She still has a few more years of high school, so maybe she'll be up for the challenge, but as for now, it's Jordan or bust!

how does it feel to have your first baby enter high school and grow up in the blink of an eye?  Well, it's dang hard for me...I spent the whole summer stressed out and miserable trying to fight it, but now that's it's here, what can you do but love her and enjoy every second of having her in our home and feeling her spirit and personality and challenges and dreams...and holding them close to your heart.  I love you Anna and am soooo proud to know you and have you in our family!  It's been wonderful to know you every second of your 14 years!!!!
